Week 75 saw the completion of Joseph's transition to the Moreporks' room as he started having his afternoon sleep in the big room with the other Moreporks and not in his cot in the Fantails' sleep room. We were a bit suspicious of how this would go as Joseph is not known for his daytime sleeps but we have been very surprised at the duration (1.5 hours each day)!

We had two visits to the doctors this week. First up on Wednesday was our visit to Bill Baber, the ENT specialist. Joseph received a month's reprieve for grommets as Bill said his recent ear infection history was very short. So, while there is fluid present, he's not desperate for grommets. I delivered this news a Bruce, our GP, on Thursday morning and he expressed surprise that Joseph has the month extension. So, we're back to see Bruce in three weeks and then to Bill in four.

Joseph has been doing some great eating this week and here's a selection of shots...

1. Breakfast last Monday...having some porridge and finishing off Dan's smoothie...all with his beanie on.

2. Fish fingers on Friday night...devoured them after a big week at Bear Park.

3. We made pizza on Saturday night and Joseph helped (although he ate more of the raw ingredients than when it was cooked!)

In terms of physical skills, climbing is very popular at the moment, he'll try to get up on anything really. He has also taken to standing on his turquoise truck but he fell onto it tonight so we've had to put that away for a couple of weeks while he gets his balance sorted (and the bump over his eye goes down!).
