He picked straight up again with his godfather Matt despite not seeing him for a year and also hit it off with Roslyn. They picked Joe up from daycare on Thursday and took him on an excursion to the museum (or as Joseph was calling it the "New Zealand") and the Domain on Friday too.
Sophia had a Black Friday theme at work on the 13th and her horns were a hit with both the boys (well mostly Joe to be honest, but here is a shot of George before he quickly pulled them off his head and started chewing them).
Saturday March 14 was Joseph's friend from Bear Park Cole's 3rd birthday party. Cole lives "in the country" near Whenuapai and Joe got into the rural spirit for a bit having a ride on Cole's tractor.
But even though there were farm animals at the party as well, Joseph decided the majority of his time was best spent playing with Cole's toys inside. However, there is a decommissioned fire engine on Cole's farm as well so when his Dad Toby got the keys out Joes was keen to be onboard (you might be able to see him in the back seat).
And there was the obligatory work on the food as well. Here are Cole and Joseph collaborating (Joseph's t-shirt was his Christmas present from Matty).
On Sunday med students Ru and Madeline came to visit George and put him through his paces. Sophia signed her and George up to a med school programme which is part of their Ethics/Human Development training and it was good to see them after they have been away for the summer holidays but are now back in Auckland studying flat out.
