Week 90 saw no biting incidents occur at Bear Park - a relief for all! However, there were a couple of days with very light day time sleeping (45 mins) so we had a very tired Monkey Pants on our hands at the end of the day (the lack of day time sleeping doesn't hinder the 5am wake up call however!). The no-bath situation has righted itself and Joseph has been enjoying the new bubble bath (bought as an incentive!).

On Saturday, Ashley (a friend of Dan's) invited us to attend the annual llama and alpaca shearing at his parents' Matakana lifestyle block. I thought Joseph would be right into it however, as the photo below shows, this is the closest we got!

He didn't want to look at them, didn't want to pet them and certainly didn't want to be in the shearing shed with them! Dan ended up taking Joseph down the playground for an hour or so! Joseph ended up adopting this yellow duck to keep him company and we now have him at home too.

Joseph did however enjoy getting up close with the chickens and here's a pic of Joseph saying "hello" (and "cluck cluck").

His language is just tumbling out now - new words this week are plant, my bed, blue and read please. He's also enjoying the concept of up and down (eg likes being thrown up in the air or falling on the floor).
