Week 91 (I'm two weeks behind...things have been a bit full on as the work/day care year finishes)...a huge week for all concerned.

Joseph had the Bear Park Christmas Party which consisted of a farm petting zoo and a special visit from Father Christmas. Unfortunately he must have known that something exciting was going on that day and absolutely refused to have a day time sleep before the party...he was a bit over tired by the time everything started.

Father Christmas's visit was TOO much for Joseph (and many other kids!) and there were lots of tears and a general unwillingness to collect his present from FC. However, once we unwrapped it, Joseph was very happy to have a new book.

The other big social event on Joseph's calendar this week was to attend Hollie's 2nd birthday party at Lollipops (an indoor soft play place). It was a bit overwhelming for Joseph (and for me!) but he did go on a few things by the end of the party. He was quite fond of the bouncy castle as it enabled him to fulfill his WWF ambitions (usually brought to life on our bed each morning and after a shower!). He did show remarkable determination to finish his ice cream tub at the party...this picture doesn't do it justice but he is the only child left (out of 15 or so guests) at the table finishing his ice cream!
