Week 97 was full of lovely sunny weather for us here in Auckland...Joseph spent most nights in his bed but had a couple of diversions to the cot over the weekend (including tonight - Dan has just put him to bed!).

Today (Mon 28th) was Auckland Anniversary Day which meant a long weekend for us. I took Joseph to the zoo this morning but he wasn't really into it - he spent most of his time looking at the koi (giant goldfish) and/or drinking his bottle.

Rob and Denise came over for dinner on Sunday night (I cooked fish tacos and orange cake) and Denise read Joseph a couple of stories before he went off to bed (very late at 8.20pm!). Current night time favourites are "The Little Train That Could" and "Peepo".

On Saturday afternoon we met Aida in Mission Bay and had fish and chips on the beach. Joseph loved being in the water and we had to carry him crying out of the water! Here's a rare pic of us as a family!

Joseph is starting to spend periods of time playing by himself...this generally involves playing with his trains and cars or reading (as seen in this picture). I still get uneasy when the house goes quiet and I'm not sure where he is! Generally silence means something naughty is going on!
