Joseph's second birthday coincided with lots of big boy behaviour - we cut out the afternoon bottle a couple of weeks ago and yesterday we dismantled the cot. Joseph celebrated his last sleep in the cot by having a huge three hour siesta (probably the longest ever daytime sleep!).

Immediately following the sleep we dismantled the cot, Joseph was very helpful.

We revealed his "new" bed room...he loved it and the new duvet cover! Such a chilled out entertainer. He slept well in his bed on Sunday night - two wake ups (once at 2am - Dan handled that one and then again at 2.45am - me!).

Monday dawned and Joseph discovered he had loads of presents to open...I'm going to load up some pictures of various present openings....

Aunty Margs and Cousin Zac sent a book that makes loud animal sounds - here is Joseph mimicking the monkey sound (this might become a daytime book only!)

Godmother Vikki sent Joseph a book and a Thomas the Tank Engine DVD...here he is at 6.50am watching it (Daddy put it on for him!)
