Week 105 saw Joseph's birthday extend an extra few days...he received so many presents that we were still opening them on Wednesday. Joseph really started to understand the concept of birthdays and keeps asking for cake and presents!

Here he is with Uncle Gerry's "Rheneas" train...this has been a big hit (a train and two carriages!). We had to go to the toyshop on Saturday morning to buy some extra track so that we can have more than one train going at once. Dan has had to call on his road engineering skills to make the three loop track work.

Another great present was this carpet covered in roads - perfect for all Joseph's cars, buses, concrete mixers and small trucks. This takes over most of our living area so we're going to have to move it upstairs I think!

Joseph has been sleeping well in his big boy bed...he has fallen out most nights (its only been a week!) so Dan and I have been a bit weary in the mornings. The weekend non-sleeping continues unfortunately so I think I'll be taking him for a drive in the car this afternoon (Dan and Joseph are at the zoo now - Easter Monday morning).

Easter is a big hit with Joseph - chocolate and hot cross buns have become firm favourites. Here he is getting stuck into his first egg of the weekend on Friday courtesy of Great Aunty Aida.

The Easter Bunny came on Easter Sunday and left a special marshmallow egg for Joseph at the front door in an Easter basket (just like his book "The Story of the Easter Bunny"!).

A few weeks ago you would have seen that we bought Joseph a seat to go on the back of Dan's bike...after a couple of false starts, Dan and Joseph headed off to the park on Saturday morning for a big adventure (the playground, patting the cows, talking to the sheep). Joseph left the property crying but came back a couple of hours later very happy!
