Week 104 culminated on Saturday 15th with Joseph's second birthday party held in Cornwall Park.

The weather here has been fantastic and we were lucky enough to have another great day.

Six children (and their parents) came - four from Bear Park (Finn, Cole, James and Hollie) and two from antenatal group (William and Lizzie). We had a run round, kicked the ball around, the kids rode their bikes and we had a bit of picnic.

Cole brought his dog, Lucy, to whom Joseph gave lots of cuddles.

James and Joseph went off on their bikes into the kauri stand and spent most of that time copying each other.

The highlight of the morning (aside from the fairy bread) was the cake made by Denise - it was a magnificent structure of the number 2, covered in green icing and lots of trains, tracks and (chocolate) pebbles all over it. It was a magnet for the children, especially Finn and Joseph (both of whom Denise rewarded with some sneaky licks of icing and stray pebbles!).

It was such a lovely morning and here's a group shot of everyone waiting for their own slice of cake.
