Week 102 saw Grandad BQ head back to Brisbane but Grandma Milly stay on for a few extra days. We went to Plunket on Wednesday for Joseph's 2 year check - all good but we need to work on J not having a bottle, road safety (?!) and going cold turkey on the bed transition (the cot's coming down next weekend). In terms of weight, J is 16.27 kg (just over the 97th percentile!) and height, 90.5cm (75% percentile).

Here is the updated Warren family weight chart...it does need to be populated with some more data from Dan and myself but you can clearly see that Joseph has well and truly passed us. I went to the obstetrician on Friday and No 2 seems to be heading on the same path (average weight of a 20 week baby is 300g-350g...our one is estimated at 419g!).

Dan and Godfather Matt headed off to Taupo (Matt competed in the Ironman on Sat 1st) so it was just me, Grandma and Joseph for a couple of days. Matt gave Joseph a cool digger and he has started to make connections between his toys and I found him using the digger to put rocks into his dump trucks.

Joseph loves books and has taken to going off on his own to read...here he is at the top of the stairs reading one of my old Dr Seuss books "Hop on Pop".

More shameless parenting but I was taking some photos for Joseph's birthday party invitation and took this cute one.

We put some bread out for the birds on Sunday morning and Joseph was keen to help, so much so that he was calling for the birds to "'mon" (ie come on down and eat!).
