This post is for week ending Sunday 13th July...we've had a good second week with George. A few brutally cold nights though which made the night feeds quite challenging!

First up is a pic that is sure to be a crowd pleaser...Joseph and his "little brudder" "baby George".

George and I have been hanging out at home - in fact we haven't been further than the letter box for about 10 days! George and I spend a lot of time on the couch and here is George chilling out, he's very relaxed in this shot (we usually swaddle him up quite tightly for sleep time).

Dan has pretty much taken full time care of Joseph since George arrived and as a consequence hasn't spent that much time with George...we try and make sure that does happen once Joseph gets home from Bear Park. Here's Dan giving George a cuddle!

We've been developing a few "family rules" with Joseph, mainly around manners and eating at the table! Matt sent us a book about a naughty hippo called Bottom and his friend, Leopold, who tries to teach Bottom manners. We've been using this as a base! One tradition that we're cultivating is Friday night fish and chips - a very popular meal for the entire family. Joseph loves the chips and the sauce although Dan did get him to eat part of a battered sausage and some fish on Friday night.

Finally, we took on a big challenge on Sunday morning when we hosted a triple playdate - we had Finn and Lizzie over for a few hours. The lounge was in an absolute state with toys and books from one end to the other by the time they'd finished with things! Luckily, it was a nice day as well so they could run around outside. Dan and I were convinced that Joseph would be so knackered that a daytime sleep would be guaranteed - we were wrong! He had a bit of a "rest" but otherwise was awake all day. He turned into Mr Cranky Pants later on and was dispatced to bed early!
