First of all, a big thank you to everyone for all the lovely presents we've received for George (and some for Joseph too). We really appreciate everything that has been sent. I am endeavouring to send thank you cards - I want to wait until George is smiling (should be soon - Dan is convinced that George smiled at him this morning!) and also have to convince Joseph to participate!
Another big week for the Warren family...George went through the four week growth spurt a few days early I think - we had a few long nights late in the week where George wanted to feed a lot and wouldn't resettle. Tiring! Joseph hasn't been his usual cheerful self - it has been cold and wet so I think there's been too much inside time. Plus, the weekend daytime sleep definitely seem to be a thing of the past so we've had a bit of a cranky pants on our hands. That's tiring too!
Here's my smug parenting moment of the week - a super cute photo of George taken on Friday afternoon.

Also, we had our last visit with our private midwide, Georgie, on Saturday morning. Here's a picture of George on the scales. Current weight is 4310g - another 270g weight gain in a week! Dan is going to resurrect the weight chart in the next week or so - something I'm sure everyone is looking forward too.

As you've seen, Joseph does like to hold George (ususally saying that he "want to hold it"). The cuddle doesn't last long - I wasn't quick enough on Friday night and only caught the after math!!

Grandma Milly and Grandad BQ arrived from Brisbane on Saturday afternoon - in the middle of NZ's "weather bomb" - super cold and stormy! They brought loads of presents with them including several books for Joseph (and Grandma made a book bag for Joseph to take to the library). There are two that have become the current favourites - "Go Dog Go" and "Ten Apples Up on Top". We are all sick of reading them!
