This post is for the week ending Sunday 6th July - George and I came home on Friday 4th - while I was pleased to have 5 days in hospital (to get things under control) I was very much looking forward to coming home and seeing Joseph and getting George into his own cot.
George had his first bath before we left hospital...like most babies I suppose it was a bit of a shock to the system.

Before George was born I rushed out and bought him a special "coming home" outfit - here he is wearing it. (Everything else is hand me downs from Joseph - things that have hardly been worn).

Joseph has been very accomodating about welcoming George into the family - it helps that George spends alot of time sleeping! Joseph seems enormous and so grown up in comparison. His speech is amazing and even in the week I was in hospital, his sentences have become more complicated ("Finn, Hollie, James and Jo-Jo do painting"). We are using the baby monitor and Dan explained that it is like a telephone - Joseph keeps telling us to turn it off - especially when he can hear George crying! Joseph is particularly fascinated when I feed George.

So, a week in, things are going well for the newly enlarged Warren family!
